- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I've been a customer of Beacon since I moved to South Carolina in 2012 . They are always very helpful, responsive, and really look out for their customers. My agent at Beacon walked me through ALL optional coverage when I was getting my own auto insurance policy for the first time. As a lawyer, I deal with auto insurance a lot because I handle car wreck cases. So many people lack underinsured motorist coverage, which is extremely important to have (but not mandatory). And most insurance companies gloss right over it without explaining to policyholders why they might need it.
