  let's see we have a patient, age 75 in chronic pain. Prognosis is that the pain will only get worse (and it is getting worse QUICKLY) but rather than give the medicine 5 days early so that the patient can go see her grandchild graduate from high school.... NO. Patient has to drive (which is unsafe because of the pain) 5 hours, sit on football field bleachers (which she won't be able to do because of the pain) and then drive back (which is STILL unsafe because of the pain) for an additional 5 hours. Shot was given 9 weeks ago... can't give it 5 days early because we have to wait 10 weeks! OMG, give her the dang shot! Dr Cramer is afraid of long term effects. Long term effects are this, the patient won't be able to enjoy her life (long term OR short term) because 6 weeks of being pain free (kind of) is totally erased with 4 weeks of agony. Boy oh boy, I'd really look forward to living another 15 years with that prognosis, wouldn't you? NOT!

  Dr Cramer is the best Dr I can honestly say I've ever had. She is caring and compassionate as well as very personable and up to date with all modern procedures. She goes above and beyond to get to the root of the problem and resolve any medical issues, fixing the problem instead of masking over it. In my case, where all problems can't be fixed - she makes sure I'm as comfortable as possible without going overboard. I HIGHLY recommend her. (And I'm PICKY when it comes to people - especially Drs!.) Definitely a 5 star Dr. (Make that 10 stars!) (That is - as long as you have good insurance). Once I was "forced" to go on Medicare due to my age and circumstances she said she "felt she could no longer help me" and referred my off to another dr (after seeing her for 4 years!). Damn near broke my heart. Ever since, I've been in chronic pain as she cut my medications in half, refused to see me and made me seek assistance elsewhere. The new Doc never even reviewed my MRIs - kept me on the 1/2 dosage she had last prescribed . As I have 13 lag bolts, plates, rods from C3-C7, L2-S1, severe sacral fracture that never healed correctly and am ruptured all throughout my thoracic with a total right hip replacement, as well as extremely arthritic, the pain is intense and unbearable. At this point in time - I'm Greatly disappointed in ALL pain management Drs.
